In the English "Premier" league on Wednesday evening, the 21st round of matches took place.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continued his excellent debut in the Manchester United manager's seat - the "Red Devils" beat the "Newcastle" team 2-0 away.
The victory was not easy for the "Red Devils" - the score was tied after the first half, with neither team able to score.
However, Solskjaer's changes in the second half paid off - in the 64th minute, Romelu Lukaku took advantage of a mistake by the opponent's goalkeeper to put the visitors in front.
Marcus Rashford secured the win in the 80th minute, scoring after a pass from Alex Sanchez.
With their fourth consecutive victory, "Man Utd" reduced their gap from fourth place to six points.
In other matches, London's "Chelsea" remained winless at home, drawing with "Southampton".
A true drama unfolded at the "Vitality" stadium, where fans saw six goals in the first half. "Watford" took a two-goal lead, but "Bournemouth" equalized the score in a few minutes. Later, "Cherries" regained the lead, but just two minutes later the score was level again.
In other matches, Marko Arnautovic's brace helped "West Ham" draw with "Brighton", while "Burnley" and "Crystal Palace" won their away games.
