Experienced Englishman Michael Carrick will be out of action for 4 to 6 weeks due to ongoing Achilles tendon problems.
The Englishman has been playing with heel pain for several weeks, but it has been decided to start treatment, which means the footballer will only return to the field before Christmas.
The 32-year-old defender has played 10 out of 11 matches in the Premier League this season and has not been substituted in any of them.
M.Carrick has been playing for "Man Utd" since 2006, when he moved from "Tottenham" club for 27.2 million euros.
