"Man Utd" did not beat "Everton", "Tottenham" defeated "Wolves" in extra time.

On Sunday at 16:00, two matches of the 17th round of the English Premier League took place.

After two victorious matches, the "Manchester United" team lost points at the "Old Trafford" fortress. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team equalized 1:1 against Liverpool's "Everton" only in the second half of the match.

From the beginning of the match, it was clear that Manchester did not come to lose. "Man Utd" had a good chance in the first attack, but later the "Everton" team managed to take control of the ball.

In the 36th minute, the "Man Utd" team was forced to take the ball out of their net when, after a rather uncertain play by David De Gea, Victor Lindelof scored an own goal.

In the second half, "Man Utd" activated their forces in attack, but they failed to find a solution against the "Everton" defense. In the 77th minute, 18-year-old Mason Greenwood saved the "Red Devils" – the substitute forward appeared in the box and shot the ball between the "Everton" defenders from about 18 meters, equalizing the score.

Neither the hosts nor the visitors from Liverpool could score a second goal before the end of the match. "Man Utd", who defeated "Man City" in the previous round, dropped to seventh place.

In other matches, London's "Tottenham" team triumphed dramatically. Jan Vertonghen's goal in stoppage time secured the victory for "Spurs" against "Wolves", after which Jose Mourinho's team rose to fifth place.

"Tottenham" started the match with an early goal – Lucas Moura punished the opponents with a fantastic shot in the 8th minute. However, after this goal, the momentum of "Spurs" declined, and "Wolves" started playing according to their plan.

In the 67th minute, Adam Traore equalized the score. Even after leveling the score, it did not seem like "Tottenham" was preparing for a comeback – on the contrary, the "Wolves" had several more opportunities after the equalizer.

However, not being vigilant in the penalty area cost the "Wolves" dearly in stoppage time – leaving Jan Vertonghen completely free at the corner kick, the North London team was gifted a crucial victory with a precise header.
