"Manchester United" on its official website announced that they have tied their future to 27-year-old Argentine national team defender Marcos Rojo.
It is reported that the footballer has put pen to paper on a new contract that will run until 2021. The contract also includes an option to extend the collaboration for another year.
M. Rojo has not played many matches this season, but it is still expected that he will play an important role in the team. The Argentine suffered a serious knee injury last season, and his rehabilitation extended until midway through this season.
The defender arrived at "Man Utd" in 2014. In total, he played 105 matches and scored two goals for the "Red Devils."
With "Man Utd," M. Rojo has won four titles, including a triumph in the UEFA Europa League.
We are delighted to announce that Marcos Rojo has extended his contract with #MUFC until June 2021, with the option to extend for a further year.
