On Monday, a surprise was recorded in the English Premier League. This season the struggling Newcastle team played a 1:1 draw at home with Manchester United. The hosts started the match off great - in the 7th minute utilizing a rough defensive mistake of the opponents, Allan Saint-Maximin scored a goal. Newcastle looked very solid in the first half, while the 'Red Devils' couldn't find opportunities to seriously threaten the opponent's goal. The second half started with huge energy from the 'Magpies' and in the early minutes the same A. Saint-Maximin had a golden chance, but his team miraculously was saved by David De Gea. Later, Man Utd took the initiative, and were dangerously threatening the opponent's goal with Marcus Rashford and Edinson Cavani. It was E. Cavani who finally equalized the score in the 71st minute. Towards the end of the match, Newcastle caused a real sauna for the visitors, and Man Utd was saved from defeat by the goalposts and the amazing D. De Gea. This is only the 11th point earned by the 'Magpies' this season.
