In the English Premier League, "Manchester United" lost their first points by playing a 1:1 draw with "Southampton" away. The "Red Devils" took the initiative from the very beginning of the match, but taking advantage of Bruno Fernandes' mistake, the "Saints" scored first when Fred redirected the ball into his own goal in the 30th minute. At the beginning of the second half, in the 55th minute, Mason Greenwood equalized the score. After the goal, "Man Utd" dominated the field for about 20 minutes, but "Southampton" defended solidly. Towards the end of the match, the "Saints" had several opportunities to expand their lead, but they were saved by David De Gea.
