Supporters wanting the Glazer family owners to step away from the club sent a letter to the 'red devils' team supporters, explaining why they are preparing to announce a boycott. "For sixteen years, the 'Man Utd' team had no debt at all. Now, after the Glazer family's arrival, 1.5 billion pounds sterling has been taken from the team, paid out in dividends and by selling shares, opening up a debt of 840 million pounds sterling (...). You, as commercial partners of the Glazers, have become targets for international fans, because the 279 million pounds sterling that you pay to the team each year is not allocated to investments in the player composition, 'Old Trafford' stadium, or improving training conditions. Your money goes towards servicing debts and paying dividends. Supporting the Glazers is not the same as supporting the club - it becomes parasitic cooperation (...). So, 'Man Utd' fans are ready to boycott your products, tarnish your reputation and support competitors. Fans have tried every opportunity since the takeover period to improve the situation: from peaceful protests to writing letters, but the Glazers have ignored everything," wrote the fans.
