"Manchester United" club officially announced that they have decided not to exercise the option to fully purchase Radamel Falcao's contract - the Colombian is returning to the "Monaco" team.
The 29-year-old footballer arrived in Manchester on a loan basis on the last day of the summer transfer window last year, but he only scored 4 times in 29 matches and "Man Utd" decided not to keep the striker.
"Falcao is a top-class professional and a good person," said the team's head coach Louis van Gaal. "On behalf of myself and everyone at the club, I would like to wish him success in the future."
It is believed that the attacker will not stay at "Monaco" and will defend the honor of another European team next season.
