"Man Utd" strategist L.van Gaal: we were worthy of a draw

On the fourth added time minute, Robin van Persie, with a powerful shot from a rebound, managed to beat goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and saved "Manchester United" team from defeat against London's "Chelsea" team - 1:1.

However, despite the fact that the Dutch forward saved manager Louis van Gaal's back, the latter had some criticism for his protege.

After scoring the goal, R. van Persie, without showing any emotion, took off his gloves and threw them in the air. Soon after, the player put on his "Manchester United" kit again, but for this gesture the referee gave him a yellow card.

"Foolish reaction to the goal. You can celebrate, but you don't need to throw your gloves. The price for that is a yellow card. It's not smart," - said L. van Gaal in a press conference after the match to his compatriot.

The specialist from the Netherlands added that his players deserved the point.

"My boys fought until the end. We were united and I believe we deserved the point. We really didn't give up on them. We could have even won," - said L. van Gaal.
