“Manchester United” successfully started the FA Cup tournament.
“Red Devils” on Friday at home defeated Liverpool's “Everton” with a score of 3:1.
The hosts took the lead in the 4th minute of the match, when Antony scored after a successful pass from Marcus Rashford.
“Everton” equalized the score in the 14th minute, when defender Conoras Coady sent the ball into the goal after a very serious mistake by David De Gea.
However, the same C. Cody redirected the ball into his own goal in the 52nd minute.
In the 74th minute, the “Toffees” equalized the score again, but after VAR review, the goal was disallowed due to offside.
“United” secured the victory in added time by converting a penalty kick through M. Rashford.
