According to the BBC, the English vice-champion offered £10 million for the team's security Michael Carrick, but the London club rejected the offer and demands to double the amount.
On Friday, "Man Utd" faxed an offer to "Tottenham" club, but it was quickly rejected. For the 24-year-old defender, who is part of the England national team and participates in the World Cup in Germany, "Tottenham" is asking for twice as much money.
