Players Dimitar Berbatov, Rafael, and Fabio, who suffered injuries in the quarterfinals of the English League Cup will not be able to play in today's Premier League match away against Birmingham's Aston Villa club.
Berbatov, who got injured in the match against Crystal Palace, was substituted after the first half, while the Da Silva brothers also failed to complete the full match.
"Berbatov's injury is not serious," said coach Sir Alex Ferguson. "The Bulgarian got injured last week and it was just a recurrence of the injury. I hope he will be healthy in the near future.
Several players are injured, but it happens in every club. Currently, we have several players getting injured within a week in our team, but we have a strong squad."
