"Manchester City" Beats "Tottenham" Without Conceding a Goal for the Sixth Consecutive Match

On Monday evening, the 10th round of the English Premier League concluded.

In the NFL-symbol adorned "Wembley" stadium in London, Tottenham attempted to stop Man City. The attempt was unsuccessful - the visitors, not conceding a goal in their own net, defeated the hosts by a minimal margin.

The visitors from Manchester started the game much more actively and dominated in the first half of the match.

The wait for the first goal, which later proved decisive and victorious, did not last long - in the 6th minute, after a pass from Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez struck accurately towards the goal.

In the second half, the "Spurs" looked much more aggressive and even started to dominate possession, but breaking the well-organized opponent's defense was not so easy.

In the 81st minute, Erik Lamela had a perfect opportunity to equalize the score, but he missed the target after receiving a pass from Dele Alli.

Man City, along with Liverpool, now have 26 points and share the top positions. Tottenham, trailing by 5 points, is in fifth place.

Result:

Tottenham 0 - 1 Man City

6' [0 - 1] R. Mahrez
