Racing for the title of Premier League champions will quickly reach the finish line. Manchester City took advantage of the opportunity to increase their lead over second-placed Liverpool with a result of 5:0, crushing Newcastle United. The hosts scored the first goal in the 19th minute. Raheem Sterling sent the ball into the goal with a header. City doubled their lead in the 38th minute. Aymeric Laporte was the first to reach the loose ball and directed it into the net. In the second half, the Citizens scored another goal. In the 61st minute, Rodri scored with a header after a corner kick from Kevin De Bruyne. Another goal for City, in the 90th minute, was scored by Phil Foden. Oleksandr Zinchenko made a pass to Foden, who simply had to send the ball into the net. After the match, Manchester City lead the standings by three points ahead of second-placed Liverpool. Both teams have three more games to play in the Premier League this season.
