One "Manchester City" fan's trip to Gelsenkirchen ended tragically - he is now fighting for his life.
On Wednesday evening, "Manchester City" achieved a dramatic victory in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final match against Gelsenkirchen's "Schalke". The "Citizens" triumphed after the match, but for one supporter, this victory came at a very high cost.
BBC reports that after a clash with "Schalke" fans, one passionate "Man City" supporter ended up in the hospital. He is now in critical condition.
"Man City" confirmed the incident in an official statement: "The club is working with Manchester and German police to gather more information. Club staff have stayed in Germany to provide assistance to the injured fan and his family."
