Construction works will begin at the "Manchester City" stadium in the coming years.

It is announced that the Manchester club plans to expand the capacity of the "Etihad" stadium from 53,000 to 60,000 for over 300 million pounds.

The club also plans to build a new club shop, museum, and hotel next to the stadium.

The "Etihad" stadium was built in 2002 and was originally meant for the Commonwealth Games. In 2003, the "Manchester City" club moved to the stadium.

In 2015, the stadium's capacity was expanded from 47,000 to 53,000.

The "Etihad" stadium could also host the 2028 European Football Championship, for which Great Britain and Ireland are contenders.
