"Premier" league - a historic decision.

It is reported that today English clubs voted in favor of introducing a financial cap.

Both Manchester clubs and Birmingham's "Aston Villa" opposed the new decision. London's "Chelsea" abstained from voting.

According to the "Times", limits will be set next summer on how much English teams can spend on new player acquisitions, player salaries, and agent fees.

This is intended to curb the richest clubs and equalize the chances of "Premier" league teams to compete.

All new rules should be in place by June of this year.
