"Manchester United" announced record revenues

"Manchester United" Executive Vice Chairman Ed Woodward predicts the start of a new era at "Old Trafford" after the club's fiscal year results were revealed.

"United" unveiled record revenues of 538.4 million euros, earned until June 30. This is 19 percent more than last year. In addition, a profit of 29.6 million euros was achieved during the year.

These results, along with newly acquired Radamel Falcao, Angel Di Maria, Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera, Daley Blind, and Marcos Rojo (although only Herrera falls into this year's numbers) excited Woodward, who believes Louis van Gaal can lead the club back to the top of England.

"We are very proud of the fiscal year results, as we once again received record revenues," he said in a statement.

"Together with our strategist Louis van Gaal and our recently acquired world-class players, we are very excited about the future and believe this is the beginning of a new era in the club's history."

Van Gaal has won 7 league trophies during his career. Woodward praised the style of play promoted by van Gaal, which led the Dutch national team to third place in the world.

"Louis's football philosophy fits Manchester United very well, and he has amazing records in his biography. The coach has managed to win league titles with every club he has led," added the representative of the "Red Devils."
