Last night in the USA there was another friendly match of the International Champions League tournament, where "Manchester United" and Madrid's "Real" met.
The winners of the UEFA Champions League, the "Red Devils," sent their opponents into a tailspin already at the end of the first half, when Anthony Martial, who had deceived the opponents brilliantly, made a pass to Jesse Lingard, who only had to score into practically empty gates.
Interestingly, the Frenchman has recently been linked at least with a short-term departure from "Man United," but he began to prove his worth in his first match in the starting lineup.
However, the English didn't enjoy the lead for long, as in the middle of the second half, after a blunder by newcomer Victor Lindelof, Casemiro could convert a penalty kick from 11 meters.
The main time ultimately ended in a 1-1 draw, but the subsequent penalty shootout was unbelievable.
Both teams were able to score only on the third attempt, and Martial couldn't beat the goalkeeper. The first successful shots were made by Luismi Quezada and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Then defenders Theo Hernandez and Victor Lindelof missed, but Casemiro's mistake was ultimately seized upon by Daley Blind, securing the victory for his team.
Result:
"Real" 1 - 1 "Manchester United" (after penalty shootout)
[0-1] 45' Jesse Lingard
[1-1] 69' Casemiro (from penalty)
