Having won the FA Cup, Erik ten Hag has secured his job in Manchester.
"The Athletic" journalist David Ornstein reports that after a discussion on Tuesday, the Manchester United executives decided to keep E. ten Hag for at least one more season.
Furthermore, negotiations for a new contract are expected to start in the near future.
Manchester United executives considered coaches such as Thomas Tuchel, Roberto De Zerbi, Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Frank, and even Gareth Southgate, but ultimately decided to stick with a proven option.
In his 2 seasons, E. ten Hag won two trophies with Manchester United - the League and the FA Cup. In the first season, they also managed to secure a place among the top four teams in the English Premier League.
