Although the decision about the future of coach Erik ten Hag in the team "Manchester United" has not yet been made, club officials are already intensively searching for a possible replacement strategy.
"Sky Sports" reports that "Man Utd" is entering the fight for "Ipswich" strategist Kieran McKenna.
It is reported that club officials met with the 38-year-old specialist from Northern Ireland representatives on Thursday.
Interestingly, K. McKenna worked in the ranks of "United" from 2016 to 2021 and held positions as a scout, U18 team coach, and eventually even as assistant coach of the main team.
The same sources claim that the "Red Devils" want to know at what stage the coach's negotiations with London's "Chelsea" are.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano adds that "Man Utd" will make a decision about E. ten Hag after the FA Cup final. However, the triumph in the final against "Manchester City" may not necessarily save the Dutchman.
