KPMG (International network of audit and tax consulting companies - ed. note) announces new data showing that the most valuable football club in the world is "Manchester United".
Last summer, the "Red Devils" club, which became the most expensive purchase of all time, knocked Madrid's "Real" off the top position, which had not been wasting money for some time.
In addition, "Man Utd" not only became the most valuable football club in the world, but also was the first to exceed the value of 3 billion euros. The value of the club managed by Florentino Perez reaches 2.97 billion euros.
Barcelona remains in third place - 2.76 billion euros. "Bayern" from Munich (2.44 billion) stayed in fourth place, and London's "Arsenal" moved into fifth place, pushing "Manchester City" to sixth place - 1.97 billion euros.
Knowing the huge sums for broadcasting rights, it is not surprising that even six clubs from the "Premier" league are among the top ten most valuable clubs. The top ten also includes two Spanish giants, as well as one club from Italy ("Juventus") and Germany ("Bayern").
