Mancini: Dzeko doesn't play as he should © EuroFootball.com

Coach Roberto Mancini admitted that forward Edin Dzeko needs to improve his game.

The English club acquired the Bosnian for around 30 million euros in January, but so far he has only scored once in seven matches.

"I expect more from Dzeko - he needs to improve his game," said Roberto Mancini. "But Edin is a great footballer.

"I think he has the same problems as Fernando Torres at Chelsea in London. When you arrive at a team in the middle of the season, you don't know anyone, it's hard to fit in.

"But each game can be different. We need to cross the ball to him more."
