The legendary Diego Maradona could once again take on coaching duties - the Argentine is interested in taking over the reins of the Iraqi national football team.
One of the most famous footballers in the world, Maradona previously coached the Al Wasl club in Arabia, but was dismissed due to poor results.
The Iraqi Football Federation (IFA) also does not rule out this possibility and claims that everything should be clarified in the coming days.
"Two days ago we received an offer from Diego, he is willing to coach the Iraqi national team.
We are still trying to reach an agreement. Our federation is pleasantly surprised by such an offer from Diego. Final conclusions will be made tomorrow or on Sunday," - H.Tofani told Goal.com.
