The war of words between the legendary Brazilian Pele and Argentine Diego Maradona continues. Representatives of the South American continent, considered the best players in the world of all time, have been exchanging words in the public space for some time.
A few weeks ago, in one interview, Pele said: "I was born for football just like Beethoven was for music or Michelangelo was for painting."
Maradona did not let that pass: "If Pele thinks he is the Beethoven of football, then I am the Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards, and Bono of football, because I have so much passion for this sport."
The Argentine also questioned for the second time whether Pele had confused his medication: "Pele claimed to be the Beethoven of football. I have never heard his music during a match, so, as I have said before, after such strange statements, we should check if he took the right pill.
"Perhaps Pele took his morning pill the night before, so he should be careful. In general, it would be best to find a new doctor."
