Diego Maradona would like to become the new coach of the Portugal national team.
According to the newspaper "A Bola," the legendary football player, who stepped down from the Argentina national team after the World Cup this summer, would like to work with a player like Cristiano Ronaldo.
"It's true. Diego and I have already talked about it," said one of Maradona's assistants in the Argentina national team, Alejandro Mancuso. "Maradona has the will and is free, but so far no one has contacted him."
It is said that the main candidate to coach the Portuguese team is still the Spaniard Luis Aragonés.
