"Marca": Madrid's "Real" will try to get rid of G. Bale after the season

Hero of last season's UEFA Champions League final, Gareth Bale, is counting his last days at Real Madrid club.

"Marca" reports that the Welsh national team winger, who has always been a favorite of Florentino Perez, will be encouraged to leave the club. This season, even players like Lucas Vazquez and Vinicius Junior are surpassing him.

Madrid's Real is tired of Bale's inconsistent play. This season he has not had major health problems, but his results, especially in this stage of the season, are not satisfying for the club that pays him the highest salary of all players.

Bale's contract with the "white" team is valid until 2022. It is emphasized that the player himself is not considering the possibility of leaving, although Real is now holding the opposite opinion.

It is said that the Madrid team would most likely have already said goodbye to the player last summer when he himself was considering other options due to playing time. However, the unexpected departure of Cristiano Ronaldo changed both Bale's and Real's plans.

"Marca" emphasizes that Bale still interests two clubs in the English Premier League – "Manchester United" and London's "Chelsea".

Bale, who cost a record-breaking 100 million euros in 2013, played 219 matches and scored 100 goals for the "white" team.

Despite his history of painful injuries, he was effective in the most crucial matches – he scored goals in two Champions League finals and also, with his impressive run, helped the Real team win the last La Liga trophy in 2014.
