"Marca": The most expensive in the world not G. Bale, but C. Ronaldo

On the website "Football Leaks" recently, many of the world's most famous footballers' contracts with the club or sales of their contracts are being disclosed.

The mentioned source revealed that Madrid's "Real" paid exactly 100 million 759 thousand and 417 euros for Gareth Bale from London's "Tottenham." This amount was reached because the royal club did not want to pay such a sum all at once, but to pay it in four installments.

However, Madrid's daily newspaper "Marca" claims that the more precise price for G. Bale is 99 million 743 thousand and 542 euros. It is reported that according to the document received by C. Ronaldo, it is also visible that "Real" agreed with "Manchester United" to pay for the Portuguese player in installments.

"Real" and "Man Utd" agreed on a price of 97 million euros, but due to three installments, C. Ronaldo's real price became 104.7 million euros. The star of the Welsh national team was supposed to cost 91.5 million euros for the Spanish runners-up, but due to the same possibility of paying for the player in installments, the "white team" had to pay almost 100 million euros.

Thus, C. Ronaldo remains the most expensive footballer in the world's history, with G. Bale's transfer falling short by almost 5 million euros.
