Today's "Marca" newspaper featured an article stating that Zinedine Zidane has set his sights on Liverpool's forward Sadio Mane.
According to the mentioned source, Zidane has been impressed by the Senegalese player for several years now, so the management of Real Madrid has been informed that Mane would be their main target next summer.
"Marca" indicates that Zidane wants Mane more than Eden Hazard in his team, who is also linked to a move to Madrid.
It is clear that Mane has made an impression on the French football legend - last summer there were reports that Real Madrid would make an offer for the African player, but the idea was rejected when Zidane announced his departure.
The 26-year-old Mane signed a new contract with Liverpool this season, which will not help Real Madrid in negotiating with the English club.
"Marca" believes that Mane is valued at a similar amount in Liverpool as Philippe Coutinho was before his move to Barcelona - around 150 million euros.
This season, Mane scored 20 goals in 38 games.
