Madrid's "Real" defender Marcelo faced winds of change in his career. After winning the UEFA Champions League final, the 34-year-old veteran confirmed that he is leaving the royal team. "It's difficult to describe the emotions - it was my last match with the 'Real' team, but despite that, I am very happy. There is no time to be sad, I am rejoicing and want to thank the fans for the magical nights experienced at the 'Santiago Bernabeu' stadium," explained the Brazilian. Marcelo arrived at "Real" in 2007 from the "Fluminense" team. The footballer, who cost 6.5 million euros, played 556 matches for the Madrid club over 15 years, scoring 41 goals and providing 103 assists. He even triumphed in the UEFA Champions League five times.
