Marcelo: "I don't think we have problems because of attitude"

During the last UEFA Champions League group stage match, Madrid's "Real" team suffered a painful blow in front of their own fans as they were defeated by Moscow's CSKA.

These matches did not determine anything for the "Real" team, so Santiago Solari made many changes in the lineup, but the young players and some veterans clearly did not live up to expectations.

After the match, Marcelo, speaking to journalists, said that the players have no problems with their attitude towards the game. The Brazilian just admitted that the team's game did not come together at all.

"We never step onto the field with the wrong attitude, but sometimes our game gets stuck and problems arise, like in the match against CSKA," Marcelo said.

"Madrid's 'Real' club always has to play with great passion. Now there is a long break until the next Champions League match. We need to improve strongly and change the image that has formed around us. We have to stay motivated and show our true face to the 'Santiago Bernabeu' stadium," added the Brazilian.

"Real" could face "Tottenham," "Liverpool," "Schalke," "Ajax," "Lyon," or "Man Utd" in the Champions League quarterfinals.
