Paris Saint-Germain informed on their official website that their rising star Marquinhos has signed a new contract until 2019.
The 20-year-old football player is an important part of the PSG team this season. At the beginning of the season, rumors spread in the media that the Brazilian was not satisfied with the situation in Paris and was considering leaving.
However, PSG decided not to give any hope to other clubs for the center back, so a new and profitable contract was signed.
"Marquinhos is the future of our team, and his decision to sign a new contract shows a strong commitment to PSG. We are very happy and want to continue to maintain young talents in our team," said the president of the French champions, Nasser Al Khelaifi.
Marquinhos joined PSG in 2013 after leaving Roma.
