"Marseille" crushes "Toulouse" by five goals difference

28th round of the French championship started off powerfully - in the first matches, "Marseille" footballers on the road thrashed "Toulouse" team 6-1.

Guests fighting for the championship title this season burst forward already in the second minute, when Michy Batshuayi opened the scoring after a pass from Dimitri Payet. Just four minutes later, Baptiste Aloe added the second goal.

"Toulouse" started to be dismantled without even half of the first half played - after Jacques-Francois Moubandje's own goal, "Marseille" was already leading 3-0. Batshuayi scored again before the break.

The second half of the match started more calmly, but Wissam Ben Yedder, who scored a consolation goal, woke up the sleepy opponents. Just a minute later, Andre Ayew responded with a precise shot, and Andre-Pierre Gignac also managed to score before the final whistle of the referee.

"Marseille" secured three points to temporarily rise to second place, while the Toulouse team remains in the relegation zone.
