General Manager Pape Diouf denied rumors in the French press about the possible acquisition of two French players, Sylvain Wiltord and Laurent Robert.

After the sale, rumors spread that "Marseille" would try to attract two French national team players to the team with the money received.

It was believed that Wiltord was supposed to join the team as a free agent, while Robert was rented for one season.

However, club director Pape Diouf denied these rumors and stated that the team currently has no plans to acquire new players.

"In the near future, we definitely do not plan to strengthen the team," Diouf said. "We are satisfied with the current roster and will see how it performs at the start of the 'Ligue 1' championship."

"Yes, it is true that we were interested in Wiltord, but that was in the past. Currently, we have no connections with him. The same can be said about Robert."
