Materazzi could end up at "Fiorentina" club © EuroFootball.com

Reports have appeared in the Italian press that Materazzi may move to the "Fiorentina" club. The "Inter" defender himself stated that he would be willing to move to "Fiorentina", but only if "Inter" no longer needed his services.

"So far I haven't received any news from the club officials, my contract is valid until 2009, so I think the club is not in a hurry to sell me," said the defender.

Materazzi did not hide the fact that if the club decided to sell him, he would happily move to the "Fiorentina" team: " "Fiorentina" occupies a really important place in Italian football and I would agree to play there, however I have never pressured the club to sell me."

It is announced that the defender is most likely to be sold if "Inter" manage to acquire another defender - Walter Samuel from "Real" Madrid.
