Marco Materazzi argues that Zinedine Zidane should apologize to himself for the famous headbutt to the chest of the Italian in the 2006 World Cup final.
During extra time, the Italian Materazzi provoked the Frenchman with insulting words, and Zidane hit his opponent and was sent off the field.
Zidane has stated that he will never apologize for his actions: "I forgive everyone, but not him. Never. I would show disrespect to myself, so I would rather die."
However, Materazzi gave him advice: "I think Zinedine should apologize to himself, because he ruined his own career, not mine."
