London newcomer Raul Meireles insists he moved to the capital not because of money.
The Portuguese national team member left Liverpool on the last day of summer and shook hands with Chelsea for 14 million euros.
"People think I'm Judas because I was lured by money. But I didn't make the decision because of that," Meireles said.
"I'll explain everything a little later, because everything is still very fresh. Not only me should be blamed for it. However, I will always love the Liverpool team, I have many friends there."
Meireles arrived in Liverpool last year from Porto.
