Message from G. Jesus to S. Aguero: "Now is my time"

"Manchester City" striker Gabriel Jesus believes that his hour of glory has arrived.

The 22-year-old footballer has been in Sergio Aguero's shadow for the past few seasons, but the Argentine has been dealing with physical problems lately and the young Brazilian intends to take advantage of this.

"In my debut season, I played a lot. Sometimes I was on the bench, sometimes it was Aguero. I have nothing against him - he is a legend, the club's top scorer, and a great guy. Sergio is great both as a player and as a person," said G. Jesus.

"I know that Aguero can score in every game. When he is on the pitch, I want him to succeed, so I just sit and wait for my chance.

Of course, I would like to play in all matches, but it is not easy. We have a lot of players, all of them are top class, so I try to enjoy every moment on the pitch.

I also understand that Sergio is no longer as young, so now is my time. I want to play and improve - that's what makes me happy.

I love football so much that I can't imagine what I would do without it. Watching matches from the sidelines is always tough, but I always respect the coach's decision and Aguero himself, who is a legend of this club," shared G. Jesus with his thoughts.
