FC Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is well acquainted with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has just moved to Arsenal in London.
Both footballers played together at Borussia Dortmund for one season, but in 2014 R. Lewandowski moved to Bavaria.
Indeed, both players have met multiple times in the Bundesliga, but on opposite sides of the barricades, and more than once they raced for the golden boot in the German championship.
After it was officially announced that the Gabon national team player was moving to England, R. Lewandowski shared a message on his Twitter account dedicated to the striker.
“Good luck Aubameyang. It was a real pleasure to compete with you. Only healthy competition pushes us forward,” the Pole wrote.
