Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, most likely, faced each other on the football field for the last time. This exceptional case took place in a friendly match in Saudi Arabia between PSG and the combined "Al-Nassr" - "Al-Hilal" team.
The French team beat the combined Riyadh team 5:4 in the match.
L. Messi put Parisians ahead in the third minute.
In the 34th minute, after a careless play by Keylor Navas, a penalty kick was awarded to the visitors and C. Ronaldo scored his first goal.
Before extra time, PSG took the lead again - Marquinhos scored a goal. Shortly after, Neymar had a chance to double the lead, but the Brazilian failed to convert a penalty kick.
In the final minute of added time of the first half, Cristiano Ronaldo equalized the score again. The 37-year-old striker took advantage of a mistake by his old friend Sergio Ramos and beat K. Navas.
The second half started with more goals. S. Ramos scored a goal for PSG, but immediately Hyun Soo Jang responded. In the 60th minute, Kylian Mbappe scored a goal from the penalty spot.
Hugo Ekitike scored the last goal for PSG in the 78th minute. Anderson Talisca managed to score a consolation goal in extra time.
Meanwhile, Messi, Mbappe, Neymar, and Ronaldo were substituted around the 60th minute of the match.
This was the first match in Saudi Arabia for the Portuguese veteran after he moved to the "Al-Nassr" team. Soon he is expected to start playing in the Saudi Arabian league.
