Brazilian football legend Pele believes that Neymar is better than last year's best footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and only falls behind him in heading ability.
Last year, C. Ronaldo had a successful period - he triumphed in the UEFA Champions League with his club and in the European Championship with the national team. This season, the Portuguese player has not shown impressive performance, but has already surpassed the 20-goal mark. However, Pele sees Neymar's advantage on the field.
"Neymar's only problem is heading," Pele claimed. "Cristiano Ronaldo is not better than him."
"In technical terms, Neymar is better than Ronaldo, but he doesn't use his head as effectively. It's very rare to see Neymar scoring a goal with his head," Pele added.
This season Neymar cannot boast of many goals - he has only scored nine precise shots. Nevertheless, Brazil should be pleased with his assist stats - he has provided 16 assists for his teammates.
