In the French "Ligue 1" championship, the "RC Lens" club lost to "Metz" with a score of 1:2.

In the 13th minute, Florian Sotoca put the French vice-champions ahead with a penalty kick from 11 meters. In the 34th minute, "Metz" striker Georges Mikautadze equalized the score. Just before half-time, in the 45+3 minute, the Georgian striker scored a brace and doubled the lead.

After the defeat, "RC Lens" is in 6th place on the table.
