In Mexico - scandal: the national team celebrated their departure to Russia surrounded by prostitutes.
As reported by the local media, after friendly matches with the Scots, which took place on June 3rd, the whole team had a day off. On the eve of those same matches, the Mexicans threw a real party in a private house.
It is said that about 30 local prostitutes were invited to the house, where music was playing loudly and strong drinks were freely flowing, causing a lot of commotion.
Such Mexican soccer stars as Guillermo Ochoa, Raul Jimenez, Carlos Salcedo, Marco Fabian, and Jonathan with his brother Giovani dos Santos attended this party.
The footballers publicly apologized to all Mexican soccer fans, as well as to their girlfriends and wives.
They will not face any sanctions. As one of the team leaders explained, footballers cannot be punished for what they did on their day off.
