Mexico defeated Uruguay in the Copa America tournament (VIDEO)

Last night, two matches of Group C were played in the ongoing "Copa America Centenario" tournament in the USA.

In one of them, Jamaica, who conceded a goal in the fifteenth minute and later struggled against Venezuela, did not have many chances. The other match was eagerly anticipated by fans.

The match between Mexico and Uruguay started similarly - in the fourth minute, Uruguayan Alvaro Pereira scored an own goal, and at the end of the first half, his teammate Matias Vecino was sent off the field.

However, almost half an hour later, during which no more goals were scored, Mexican player Jose Guardado received his second yellow card in front of his eyes.

Uruguay took advantage of this through Diego Godin to get back into the game, but Mexico managed to score two more goals at the end of the match, securing a surprising victory.

The decisive moments were Rafael Marquez's strike into the top corner of the goal and Hector Herrera's header in the final moments.
