Last summer it became clear that Marouane Fellaini will not leave "Manchester United" club - the 30-year-old midfielder signed a new contract.
It was revealed that coach Jose Mourinho prevented his departure - the Belgian will represent the English vice champions for at least two more years.
Now it appears that M. Fellaini was convinced to stay by opening his wallet wide. According to "The Sun", the veteran earns up to 150,000 pounds sterling a week (after taxes) and is the fourth highest paid player in the "Red Devils" club.
M. Fellaini joined the "Man Utd" club in 2013 from "Everton".
This season, the midfielder appeared in six "Premier League" matches (3 - in the starting eleven) and made 1 assist.
