Germany national team striker Mario Gomez wants to return to his homeland. It is reported that the 31-year-old player will no longer play for the Istanbul "Besiktas" team, but will not don the "Fiorentina" team's jersey either, to which he belongs. The veteran has ironed out details of a personal contract with the Dortmund "Borussia" club and it is expected that this transfer will soon be officially announced. M.Gomez was also interested in the "Wolfsburg" and London's "West Ham" clubs, but decided to accept coach Thomas Tuchel's invitation. In the past Turkish championship, the striker scored 26 goals in 33 matches.
