After this decision Borussia fans burned M. Gotze's jerseys and were very angry because he left the team and moved to the ranks of their biggest rivals.
"I understand the disappointment of the fans. I played for a long time in Borussia's team and unexpectedly joined Bayern, but it's completely normal," - said the midfielder.
"However, this step should be looked at from a different perspective. There were many reasons why I chose Munich. It's a new coach, players and, of course, to try something new," - added the 21-year-old German.
