Dortmund's Borussia defender Mats Hummels does not intend to leave the team this summer.
With Louis van Gaal taking over the reins of Manchester United, the German was linked with the "Red Devils" team, but such rumors were denied by the footballer's father.
In the summer, the "Man Utd" team will be looking to strengthen their defense, as defenders Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand are leaving the team.
"I have known van Gaal since his time at Bayern Munich club. However, there was no contact regarding the move to the 'Man Utd' team. Mats is happy in Dortmund and is currently only thinking about the World Cup," said the footballer's father Herman.
M. Hummels is a product of the Munich Bayern youth academy and moved to Borussia as a German for 4.2 million euros only in the summer of 2009.
