In the Italian "Serie A" league on Saturday, two matches were played - both Milan clubs secured victories with different styles.
Defending champions Milan managed to defeat one of the league's underdogs, Parma, away after a tough battle. Midway through the second half, A.Gilardino scored the first goal for Milan on the road since their match against Lazio in September.
However, the players of the title-winning club showed character and with eight minutes remaining, Kaka equalized the score after a pass from J.D.Tomasson, and at the end of regular time, A.Pirlo scored the winning goal.
"Inter" managed to secure their third win of the season with a dominant performance at home, beating "Messina" by a five-goal margin. The most productive player of the season, Adriano, scored three goals for the home team, while the Sicilians scored an own goal, and C.Vieri added another one.
It's worth noting that "Inter" found themselves in a difficult situation when goalkeeper F.Toldo received a red card in the 49th minute, and debutant F.Carini had to come on to replace him. Carini conceded a penalty from N.Amoruso in the 76th minute, but the referee ordered a retake and Amoruso missed.
