Strategist Massimiliano Allegri did not spare criticism for controversial Madrid coach Jose Mourinho and called him "pitiful."
In the TV show "Le lene," Allegri, who triumphed in the Italian championship, spoke about his colleagues. When asked about the Portuguese coach, the Italian said: "Mourinho is pitiful. He repeats the same thing over and over again and has become banal. Of course, he is a very talented coach, but his arrogance hides his sense of insecurity."
Mourinho regularly gets involved in conflicts in the media, and recently gained notoriety for comments in which he accused the "Barcelona" club of having a conversation with UEFA and thus influencing referee decisions.
Shortly before that, "Real" manager Guus Hiddink did not spare criticism for Mourinho, urging him to apologize for his comments during the Champions League semifinals against "Barcelona."
